JustPark Refunds Guide - How passes refunds work?
💳 How Refunds Work
When you request a refund for a parking booking, we work directly with the venue to review your case. The venue makes the final decision on all refund requests, as they manage the car park and can verify what happened during your booking.
We advocate on your behalf and present your case to ensure a fair outcome.
✅ When Refunds Are Typically Approved
Venues usually approve refunds when your pass was not redeemed AND you experienced one of these issues:
- Technical problems (QR code wouldn't scan, barrier malfunction)
- Car park was full or closed
- You were charged twice for the same booking
- The event was cancelled
- No staff available to scan your pass
- System errors prevented access
❌ When Refunds Are Typically Not Approved
Venues usually cannot provide refunds when:
- Your pass was successfully redeemed (you parked)
- You didn't show up or changed your mind
- You booked the wrong date or time
- Your vehicle was too large (if size restrictions were listed)
- You found alternative parking
📩 What Happens Next
Once you submit your refund request, we'll review it with the venue within 3-5 business days. We'll email you once a decision has been made.
If you have evidence supporting your refund request (screenshots, photos, etc.), please include them to help us make your case to the venue.
