What’s the Difference Between On-Demand and Reservation Parking?
At JustPark, we offer two types of parking solutions: On-Demand Parking and Reservation Parking. The type of parking available to you depends on the location, as some areas may only support one type. Here’s a breakdown of how each works.
On-Demand Parking
- What It Is: On-demand parking, AKA Park & Pay, allows you to pay for a parking space, instead of using cash. You can also control your booking, extending it with a couple of clicks, instead of needing to return to your vehicle to put more cash in the meter.
- How It Works:
- Find the location ID on signage.
- Open the JustPark app or website.
- Enter the location ID and pay for the time you need.
- Park instantly—no advance booking required.
Reservation Parking
- What It Is: Reservation parking allows you to book a parking space in advance. You can book for hours, days week, even months! We also offer a money-back guarantee if your reserved space is unavailable.
- How It Works:
- Search for your destination in the JustPark app or website.
- Browse available parking near your destination, and select the one you want to park at.
- Select the date and time you need parking and reserve your space.
- Arrive knowing your spot is waiting for you.

Which One Should You Choose?
The choice between on-demand and reservation parking depends on the location:
- On-demand parking may be the only option available in some areas, it's mainly for short term (less than 24hr) municipality parking.
- Reservation parking is ideal for guaranteed spaces, for any length of time.
