I Received a Parking Citation, What Should I Do?
If you’ve received a parking citation, follow these steps to resolve the issue:
1. Double-Check the Details
- Verify the information on the citation, such as:
- The date and time of the citation.
- The vehicle registration number.
- The parking location where the citation was issued.
2. Confirm Your Booking
- If you paid for parking through JustPark, check your booking confirmation:
- Open the JustPark app or log in to your account at justpark.com.
- Go to the My Bookings section and find the relevant booking.
- Confirm the location code, booking times, and vehicle registration details match the parking citation.
3. Resolve Common Issues
- Incorrect Vehicle Registration: If the vehicle registration in your booking doesn’t match the vehicle you parked, update it in the app or website for future bookings. Unfortunately, this mismatch may result in a valid citation.
- Booking Time Overlap: Check if the citation was issued because your booking ended before you left the parking spot. Ensure future bookings cover the full duration of your stay, or use the Extend Parking feature when needed.
